Using Computer Aided Design and Drafting software (CADD), the competitors will be challenged in:
•    Interpreting instructions
•    Reading and developing plans
•    Reading and interpreting architectural and construction specifications for either residential or
commercial buildings
•    Residential CMHC handbook
•    Wood frame construction
•    Small-scale buildings; residential in nature

The key themes covered will be:
•    Space planning
•    Building codes
•    Original Design Concepts
