Hairstyling

Secondary – Junior
Competitors will be tested on creative impression and ability. This will be a creative braid performed on a long hair mannequin.

Secondary – Intermediate
This level of this competition will allow the young stylists to demonstrate their technical skills and creative ability in the following test: Creative Bridal Style (Long Hair) Evening.

Secondary – Senior
The level of this competition will allow the young stylists to demonstrate their technical skills and creative ability in the following four tests:
•    Ladies Creative Day Style with Colour Enhancement
•    Ladies Hair by Night with Hairpieces and Ornamentation
•    Men’s Progressive Cut, Colour, Style
•    Men’s Classical Sculptured Cut (Bombage) & Style with Beard Design

High School students are registered for the event by their teacher.  Review the registration package and scopes for details. Please note that the junior and intermediate levels are regionalized events. Students must qualify at a RSCC before moving onto the PSCC.

Post-Secondary

The level of this competition will allow the young stylists to demonstrate their technical skills and creative ability in the following four tests:
