Plumbing
Competitor’s knowledge and skills will be assessed in the installation of a plumbing system with high regard to the aspects of quality workmanship, proficiency of pipe joining techniques and accuracy of work within a specified time frame. Mathematical problem solving, safe work practices, proper use of tools, correct joinery techniques, blueprint and/or specification interpretation ability and a strong positive work ethic are needed to be successful.

Precision Machining - Secondary & Post-Secondary Competitions
Both secondary and post-secondary competitor’s precision machining skills and trade knowledge will be evaluated through theory and practical testing. Skills and knowledge will be tested by a theory exam as well as machining on a conventional engine lathe and a conventional vertical milling machine.
