For the second time WorldSkills Americas will bring together competitors from over 12 countries/regions. Representing Alberta and Canada is Peter Keith, Team Alberta Gold Medalist.
The São Paulo city is the most important financial, corporately and mercantile centre in the Latin America. It is the 10th richest city in the world and the 6th world's largest city in population with 11 millions of habitants. São Paulo is a very multicultural city with rich and variety gastronomies.
São Paulo city has the Pavilhão de Exposições do Parque Anhembi exhibition centre, which has 76,000 square metres of covered area, where the mainly international and national Brazilian events are held.
In this context that will be held the 2nd WorldSkills Americas Competition in conjunction with teh "Olimpíada do Conhecimento Nacional" (WorldSkills Brazil), event which will gather over 800 competitors from all Americas, in the one of the biggest Vocational Education Competition in the world which will show the potential of the Vocational Education from Americas countries.
