Contestants will write and deliver an oral speech. After the speech is completed they will be asked to respond to two questions asked by judges on the topic on which the competitor is speaking. Competitors should reflect on the given topic, creatively ensuring that they maintain a focus and consider the content implied by the topic. Students are expected to express themselves clearly while capturing the attention of their listening audience.
