Nominate a Competitor
Post-Secondary Technical Institute and Employer Recommendations
Each fall Employers and Technical Institutes can recommend Post-Secondary students to be considered to participate in the Provincial Skills Canada Competition.
Students will be notified by Apprenticeship and Industry Training or their Technical Institute if they have been selected to compete by April 1, 2012. Space is limited at the Provincial Skills Canada Competition and therefore submitting a name does not guarantee participation in the event but does show those selecting that the student is interested in participating.
To participate in the 2012 Provincial Skills Competition students must be:
- Born on or after January 1, 1991.
- Currently apprenticing in a trade or attending a post-secondary institution
- An Alberta resident
- A Canadian Citizen
Nominations have closed for the 2012 PSCC. Check back in the fall of 2012 for the next round of nominations.
