Post-Secondary students can apply to participate in the Provincial Skills Competition by submitting their information prior to January 1 of the year of competition.

You will be notified by Apprenticeship and Industry Training or your Technical Institute if you have been selected to compete by April 1, 2012. Space is limited at the Provincial Skills Canada Competition and therefore submitting your name does not guarantee your participation in the event but does tell those selecting that you are interested in participating.

To participate in the 2012 Provincial Skills Canada Competition you must:

• Be born on or after January 1, 1991.
• Currently apprenticing in a trade or attending a post-secondary institution
• An Alberta resident
• A Canadian citizen
