Tips for Success - High School Teachers

• Become a Skills Champion to receive registration and important updates
• Once online registration begins competitions fill up fast.  Review the registration documents to make note of key dates. 
• Check the scopes regularly to become familiar with the project and identify changes.
• Attend a Skills Canada Competition to talk with our technical experts and other teachers to familiarize yourself with the projects.
• Bring your administrators and fellow teachers to a Skills Canada Competition to learn about the program.
• Host a Skills Classroom Presentation to spark your students’ interest in participating in an event.

The key to success is to encourage your students to reach for their personal best.
