WorldSkills International
Skills Canada is a member of WorldSkills International. It’s mission is to raise the status and standards of vocational skills and training worldwide.
We select and prepare students for the WorldSkills Competition, through the Provincial and National Skills Canada Competitions. Students interested in participating in Skills Canada Competitions and becoming part of Team Canada can apply for consideration to be selected compete.
As the WorldSkills Competition occurs every two years, 2012 will be the selection for Team Canada that will compete at WorldSkills Leipzig, Germany in 2013!
Following the 2010 Provincial and National Skills Canada Competitions, four Albertans became part Team Canada that partipated in WorldSkills London 2011 this past October! To learn more about our 'Fierce Four', check their biographies below and featured article.
