Cardboard Boat Race Volunteer

The Cardboard Boat Races challenges junior and senior high school students from across the province to use their skill and ingenuity to transform cardboard, duct tape and a few other odds and ends into floating race vessels.

We are looking for a few good people to help with setting up the construction floor and judging the boats based on a number of criteria, including design, speed, and the best and most dramatic sinking. Individual and group volunteers are welcome and no previous experience is needed.

Benefits for you:

  • Free parking (reimbursed), lunch, coffee, snacks, and volunteer t-shirt
  • Be part of a fun and exciting day!
