7 Medallions of Excellence for Alberta at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017

WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 has come to an end, and we could not be more proud of the 9 Albertans who represented our country as part of Team Canada. After a year of dedicated training, each of them took part in 4 days of competition, showcasing their incredible skills and passions. 

Team Canada received 1 bronze medal in Mechatronics (awarded to Avery Bird and Theodor Willert from Ontario), and 13 Medallions of Excellence, 7 of which were awarded to Alberta competitors:
