Unfortunately due to the directive announced by Alberta Health Services to suspend all events of 250 people or more, the Provincial Skills Canada Competition has been cancelled for 2020. We hope to have you join us in 2021.

Skills Canada Alberta has events for students in Alberta from Junior High, High School, and Post-secondary institutions. Below are the three ways that registrations are completed online.



Post-Secondary Students

Post-Secondary Students must apply to compete through our online portal. After completing the registration form students will be notified of their successful application through email.

Junior and High School Students

Students attending junior high or Senior high school register for their events through their teachers. Interested students should contact their teachers to complete registration.


Teachers of interested students will use the online portal setup for them when they became a skill school. Every skill school has a teacher representative that facilitates Skills Alberta events.

Not a Skill School?

If you are an instructor at a school that is not yet registered as a skill school. The form can be filled out online. Applicants will be contacted by Skills Alberta staff through email.
