School Field Trip

Unfortunately due to the directive announced by Alberta Health Services to suspend all events of 250 people or more, the Provincial Skills Canada Competition has been cancelled for 2020. We hope to have you join us for a field trip in 2021.

The field trips begin with visiting LAUNCH PAD, which in just 5 minutes transports students into a world of discovery. Students are encouraged to be curious and adventurous as they explore Skill City and the PSCC.

Students can then explore the competition floor to watch our CENTRE STAGE presentations, try their hands at the interactive Try-A-Trades® and Try-A-Skills hosted by industry experts for career exploration, or cheer on some of the 700+ high school and post-secondary students competing in one of the 46 different trade and technology areas.

Schools can receive a $200 travel subsidy for attending the PSCC. Subsidy forms will be sent to you and submitted after your school has attended the competition. All subsidy forms are subject to approval by SCA.
