Your Skills Canada Alberta experience doesn’t end once you’ve finished competing. We want to foster a sense of pride and help inspire a sense of community amongst past competitors. Our goal is to provide opportunities to help develop the personal and professional lives of our alumni.
Through initiatives such as volunteering, professional development and mentoring current competitors, we want to celebrate you – our Skills alumnus!
We need you to tell us how you would like to be involved, what we should do to help grow the Skills Canada Alberta alumni community, and how we can celebrate your successes.
Please fill out the online survey by January 24, 2018 to let us know what you would like to see in a Skills Canada Alberta Alumni Program.
Ways to Get Involved:
- Fill out the survey!
- Apply to sit on our Skills Canada Alberta Alumni Committee
- Volunteer – we are always looking for volunteers to help at provincials, or to be part of our school presentations around the province to inspire a new generation of Skills competitors.
- Join our Skills Canada Alberta Alumni LinkedIn group
- Submit a video for this year’s competitors who are competing in the 2018 Provincial Skills Canada Competition
Each year SCA recognizes an alumnus who has continued to support the Skills Movement after competing in a Skills Competition. We want to honour those alumni who have said thank you to the Skills community by paying it forward.
