Chris is the driving force behind Skills Canada Alberta’s competitions and logistical operations. As the Manager of Programming & Resource Relations, he leads the Provincial Competition team, overseeing the intricate details and logistics of our flagship event, and of the Try-A-Trade® Takeout program. He also acts as the Team Lead for the Team Canada Alberta program. Chris is passionate about inspiring youth to explore rewarding career paths in trades, and has a special interest in automobile technology because of the hands-on problem solving. When not immersed in the world of trades, Chris spends as much time as he can with his family (ideally on a beach somewhere), and finds joy in the upbeat notes of “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins or the humour of “Schitt’s Creek”.
