Chris is the driving force behind Skills Canada Alberta’s competitions and logistical operations. As the Manager of Programming & Resource Relations, he leads the Provincial Competition team, overseeing the intricate details and logistics of our flagship event, and of the Try-A-Trade® Takeout program. He also acts as the Team Lead for the Team Alberta and Team Canada Alberta programs. Chris is passionate about inspiring youth to explore rewarding career paths in trades, and has a special interest in automobile technology because of the hands-on problem solving. When not immersed in the world of trades, Chris spends as much time as he can with his family (ideally on a beach somewhere), and finds joy in the upbeat notes of “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins or the humour of “Schitt’s Creek”.
