Welding
Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines, and equipment.
Welders are a key component to the fabrication of many structures in our daily lives from pipelines to agriculture/power/transport equipment to building piles to artistic pieces. Post-secondary education will train you to interpret drawing, follow common practice procedures and understand the science of various metals. An education in welding is an apprenticeship style, allowing you to gain industry experience while completing your studies.
