What is Try-A-Trade®?

A Try-A-Trade® is your way of engaging students, transporting them to your industry, and inviting them to safely experience skills that are practiced in day-to-day, on the job activities at your company. Successful Try-A-Trades® fuel students’ desire to branch out and explore the endless career opportunities available to them.

Promote your organization. Build your brand and effectively reach your key communities by allowing students to engage directly with your employees for a firsthand experience of the work that you do.
Take a proactive approach promoting your organization’s work as well as future and current career opportunities within your organization, industry, and community.

Skills Motivator Try-A-Trade® partners receive a 400-800 square foot space and 8 hardwall panels on the competition floor.

Skills Maker Try-A-Trade® partners receive a 200-400 square foot space and 4 hardwall panels.

Friend of Skills Try-A-Trade partners receive a 200 square foot space and 2 hardwall panels.
